Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to hire Imperial Resume. We take your commitment to invest in your career advancement seriously. We are excited to help you with the tools and strategies that have helped our clients receive great results. To help us have a great start, here are the terms and conditions to accept with your purchase.

Imperial Resume's clients have an excellent record of landing jobs and advancing their careers. Yet, we offer no guarantee of landing a job or promotion as a result of using our services. Career services have no control over the market. Therefore, do not fall for any other career services provider that does make such promises. 

For all services purchased, you acknowledge that this is a collaborative process between us. You also agree to perform suggested activities to generate the best job search results. Without your engagement in the process, the results will not be what you desire. 

Payments are due in full before services are rendered. 

JOB SEARCH RESPONSIBILITY: 

The client agrees that while Imperial Resume provides the best available tools, ideas, advice, and commercially available data, we cannot be responsible for changing market conditions, job posting changes, or a client’s aggressiveness, attitude, and willingness to implement their action plan. NO VERBAL OR WRITTEN PROMISE OR GUARANTEE OF ANY JOB OR EMPLOYMENT IS MADE OR IMPLIED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT. Ultimately, their success in the job market is solely their responsibility. 

Your service includes professionally written documents also known as marketing and branding documents and/or career development sessions. As the client, you are responsible for reviewing your completed documents from our service providers for completeness and accuracy. Imperial Resume is not liable for any damage caused by omissions, false statements, or inaccuracies. We work with you through the document edit phase. As the client, it is your responsibility to review and finalize your documents before using them. 

GENERAL REVISION POLICY: 

NOTE: This service includes 1 round of complimentary edits which must be conducted before services are considered complete. A revision is defined as minor when changes to the text or shifts in the content are slight and/or still directed towards the same job roles/industry/etc. Substantial changes, for example, a change of job focus, strategy, target audience, or anything that requires completely rethinking or re-strategizing are considered a rewrite and will incur extra charges and a revised project due date. 

Rough drafts of the documents will focus on the information presented by you, the client. This can be the form of supporting documents, discovery calls, and/or the initial consultation. It is our policy that all revisions must be submitted in writing within 5 calendar days of receiving your draft(s). If contact is not made within 5 calendar days, an order automatically becomes finalized on the 5th calendar day. Any edits requested on or after the final version is delivered will be charged a revision fee. The fee will be determined based on the details of the request. 

GENERAL REFUND POLICY: 

Fees for consultation, information-gathering, and preparation of career documents are non-refundable, as Imperial Resume provides custom services for each client. All payments are non-refundable, as they cover the development of a customized questionnaire, interview questions, or other services. Services include client consultation or coaching, writing, and editorial services, design, layout, editing and proofreading, and finalization of such documents are intellectual property and take a significant amount of time to prepare and complete, which cannot be recouped. 

Again, all services are considered complete within 30 days of purchase date unless otherwise stated by written agreement. This is regardless of if you fail to follow through on your commitments of the contract.

PAUSING OF SERVICES OR CLIENT UNRESPONSIVENESS

Imperial Resume has policies in place to address situations where clients are unresponsive to emails scheduling emails, or schedule but do not show up to meetings with their service providers.


For individual services:
For most of our services, this means a video recording will be sent to you going over your materials.  Though these materials may be personalized, we cannot guarantee they will reflect your experience or background as thoroughly as when our service providers are able to receive necessary information from you. See our FAQ for details on what happens during each of our services.

For bundle services:

In most cases, as the latter services in a bundle rely on previous sessions for more information, our service providers cannot proceed with their consulting if clients are unresponsive.  In these situations, your service will be placed on pause, and you will have 3 months to reach out to contact@imperialresume.com in order to reactivate your service.  You agree that if you do not reactivate your service within 3 months, that your services are considered expired

NO-SHOW AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

At Imperial Resume, we understand the value of punctuality and prioritize providing the best customer service to our clients. To ensure that all appointments run smoothly and efficiently, we have established the following policy regarding no-shows and reschedules.

Definition:

A no-show is a client who fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice. A reschedule is defined as a client who requests to change the date and time of a scheduled meeting with less than 24 hours' notice.

Maximum Allowable No-Shows and Reschedules for Bundle Services:

For bundle services, clients are allowed a maximum of two (2) no-shows or reschedules per bundle. Exceeding this limit may result in the consultant sending the resources for the services via email.

Maximum Allowable No-Shows and Reschedules for Individual Services:

For individual services, clients are allowed a maximum of two (2) no-shows or reschedule per service.

Notice for Rescheduling:

Clients are encouraged to provide at least 24 hours' notice for rescheduling appointments to ensure efficient scheduling for all clients.

This policy is in place to ensure the best possible customer service and prompt scheduling for all clients. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

Survival of Provisions. The provisions of Sections (Terms and Fees) hereof shall survive termination of this Agreement for whatever cause, including, but not limited to the mutual agreement to terminate this Agreement by both parties hereto. 

Passwords. All access codes and passwords that are personal to the individual will be provided to Imperial Resume. Company Personnel are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all access code and passwords provided and ensuring that each access code and password is only used by the individual authorized. 

Imperial Resume reserves the right to refuse service, terminate a client relationship, or otherwise cancel orders at their sole discretion. Imperial Resume is under no legal obligation to refund the purchase price of any service under any circumstance. However, we will seek to satisfy every client within reasonable accommodation.
